The Silver Ring came into existence on June 3rd, 2005 as an online resource for information about music and musicians in and around Silver City. If you or your band would like free exposure on this site let us know. Click here to send us your press info.

For those of you out of towner's who just bumbled your way here, a brief word of explanation. Silver City is located in the mountains of southwest New Mexico. Check out the Silver City - Links page to find out more about our town. We're sort of "off the beaten path" so we take it upon ourselves to develop our own entertainment. This website aims to keep track of some of it. Mostly this is a service for our local residents but feel free visit our Wassup page for a flavor of what goes on here...

Note, this site is a maintained listing of the information that comes our way. If we don't know about it you won't find it listed here. So, if you get wind of something we need to know about send us a note. This site serves as a passive resource only, we do not maintain a mail list and we do not keep an email database.
